Description
The Sargadelos group produced this beautiful sculpture to commenorate the 400th anniversary of the publication of el Quijote. This colourful piece stands at 35 cm and is presented in a charcoal Sargadelos box with information on the historical significance of Don Quixote, written in Spanish and Galego.
At the base of the Quixote there is writing in Galego, the exact translation into English is: ...Freedom, Sancho, is one of the most precious gifts that to the men him gave the skies; with her they cannot equalize the exchequers that the land encloses not the sea conceals. The White Quixote has a different inscription as does the limited edition.
